Objectifcation in Action

Interpersonal objectification in same-gender and mixed-gender interactions

We are currently working to collect interaction data to 1) replicate the findings in Garcia, Earnshaw, and Quinn (2016), and 2) investigate interpersonal objectification in same-gender dyads.

Images of Women of Color

In another project we are exploring the effects of specific stereotypes of women of color on cognitive objectification processes.

Inequality in the Home

We are also currently designing a study investigating how perceptions of men and women change depending on the tidiness of their living spaces.
